SYNNØVE MO
Living with beauty - is a driving force in my work. Fashion is an aesthetic tool whose transformative power has the ability to create parallel realities.
Synnøve is best known for her sensibility for colour and texture, prints with hidden stories, and cuts that enhance the body. Her Scandinavian design heritage is visible in her simplified yet strong visual language. Her playful, relaxed, yet highly wearable designs have earned her a cult following.
Synnøve Mo grew up in Bodø, a small town in northern Norway just above the Arctic Circle. She was educated in Paris and began working as an assistant designer for the haute couture house Christophe Rouxel in Paris — a surreal experience in a five-floor, ballroom-style workspace on Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
After seven years in Paris, she left to start freelancing as a designer, illustrator, and stylist for various international fashion magazines. She was named Newcomer of the Year at Oslo Fashion Week in 2007 and founded her own brand the following year.
UNSEEN AND DELICIOUS, 2023
