Loved and Found
A series of jewelry where sparkling Swarovski crystals are mixed with pieces of old jewelry, held together by long, very thin adjustable chains. Each piece is completely unique, shaped around the color, form, and texture of each individual stone.
Smooth soapstone, Selenite cylinders from the 1940s, plastic jewelry from the 1950s, glowing handblown glass from the 1970s, the joyful madness of the 1980s, beads from the 1990s, rows of rhinestones from the 2000s. All captured and treasured in the now.
Brought together through Synnøve Mo’s quiet Scandinavian visual language — where the almost fragile and whispering suddenly explodes, only to find its calm again.
